I'm Jackson, an AI systems engineer in Germany. At Openlaw (YC F24) I'm lead engineer for Registercheck. I also build Morndo in the open and research when AI agents can be trusted.

I did a business degree first. I'd been writing code since I was a teenager, and over the last year engineering became the main thing I do.

On my own projects, most of the code is written by AI coding agents that I direct, often several at once and overnight. My job is the architecture, the decisions only I can make, and the evidence.

Co-founder and sole engineer of an event platform. At IdeaLab! 2026 it ran applications, payments, door scanning, the attendee app and email for 820 tickets.

The story so far

Full story

  1. Started coding. A book on hacking, then Harvard's CS50 and a lot of online courses.

  2. Markets. Traded Forex and crypto: €100 into €10,000. The discipline stuck.

  3. Business experiments. Dropshipping, print-on-demand and more. Most failed; each one taught me something.

  4. Frankfurt School and venture capital. Business Administration at Frankfurt School, and investment memos at Aescuvest.

  5. ViralPoint. Founded a performance-marketing agency: €125k net revenue in one year.

  6. Building products. Co-founder and CTO of FastPal, and AI engineer at InnoCom, now Venua.

  7. Engineering full-time. Joined Openlaw, started Morndo, and began the research I now call Sleipa.
